9th of April Confirmed

A meeting for the 9th of April has now been confirmed. The meeting will be the last in a long season and all proceeds will be donated to the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal. A start time will be announced shortly but it is expected to be a twighlight meeting starting at 4pm.

Features for the meeting are the South Island Midget car championship and Canterbury Champs in all other classes
plus the final of the Melrose Motorsport Challenge with 9 finalists competing for the $2000 dollar prize package

Message from Management Committee

The Management Committee of Equus Ruapuna Speedway apologises for the disruption to the 2010-2011 season.  We hope to have a date confirmed shortly for our final meeting of the season.

The 6.3 earthquake on 22 February was a terrible event with Mother Nature completely in control.  The loss of life and damage to our beloved city and surrounding areas was something none of us thought we would ever have to witness and remember as a dark time in our history.  We hope that all our competitors, crews, workers and supporters are safe and well.  Our thoughts are with you all and we hope that the recovery and rebuilding process hastens so that our lives can regain a little more normality.

Earthquake Update

Due to the Recent Earthquake in Christchurch the next meeting planned for Saturday 5th of March has now been cancelled further updates will be posted regarding future meetings.
